TWO STAINED GLASS WINDOWS WITH FLORAL TRIUMPHS AN EYE FOR DETAIL: PROPERTY FROM A PRIVATE ESTATE IN NORTHERN LONDON Possibly Tamil Nadu, Southern India or England made for the Indian export market, late 19th - 20th century Designed as round arch windows, made of unevenly sized, painted and monochrome stained glass segments, featuring a large lush flower bouquet in the centre, spraying out of an urn-like vase, flanked by further vases or cornucopia, and surrounded by acanthus leaves, the style and composition of the floral triumph echoing similar examples encountered in stained glass windows from Europe, the largest window 54cm by 105cm including the wooden frame.
