British officer's field cap of the RAF (Training Corps). Made of dark blue fabric and with a black center band, peak and belt. On the inside a label with the size '57' and the maker's name Compton Webb (Headdress) Ltd. This company (J. Compton, Sons & Webb Ltd.) was located on the Old Ford Road in East London and active in the period 1930-78. Very well preserved and without (moth) damage
