Straight mahogany-veneered writing desk, opening with a transverse drawer. The middle section opens with a flap to reveal a window adorned with three tiered shelves underlined by seven drawers in three rows, the central one being boxed. The lower part opens with two leaves revealing a shelf. The pilastered jambs are surmounted by bronze Egyptian heads. It stands on four legs, the front of which are lion's claw, and is topped with black marble.
