Tebriz carpet (cotton warp and weft, wool pile), Northwest Persia, circa 1950-1980 193 x 108 cm The rug features a central elongated triple medallion in ivory, blue and red on a plain red ground with a blue counterground. The whole composition is embellished with four spandrels. A yellow border with flower garlands is framed by two counter-borders. (stains, breaks and small holes, wear and fraying)
