SAMSON, 19th century Large vase decorated with lotuses in various stages of bloom on a yellow background. The neck is decorated with lotus flowers in multi-lobed medallions on a floral checkerboard background. A frieze of ruyis runs under the lip. Mark on reverse H : 53.8 cm. Mounted in gilt bronze.
