256. Large and fine Dwarf, Iran, wool and silk, circa
1965/1970.
Good condition. Quality silky wool velvet,
flowers surrounded by silk, on cotton foundations. Nice
graphism. Density of approx. 8,000 to 9,000 knots per
dm2. Remarkable finesse. Midnight-blue field decorated
of palmettes and flower bulbs surrounded by fine
ivory and old rose intertwined crenellated stems.
Five borders, the main one beige, with interlacing stylized
flowers and stylized foliage.
