LARGE SILVER COFFEE POT Master goldsmith François-Joseph Ricourt, received in 1778 Lille, 1780-1781 Of baluster form, with twisted ribs and flat sides, standing on three scrolled feet, the spout with foliage and scales, later engraved with a monogram surmounted by a count's crown; the stave lid, the urn-shaped grip; the handle in worn wood, the attachments formed by a poly-lobed flower on an amati background; later engraved with a coat of arms surmounted by a count's crown; knocks and scratches from use.
