China, late 18th century, Qianlong period (1736-1795)
Decorated with polychrome famille rose enamels of bouquets of flowers and fruit and gold fillets, the rims decorated with a braid of foliate scrolls and stars in gold on a blue background, the lids in the shape of a pomegranate; the grip of one lid has been restored.
