In chased bronze, gilt and white marble, the dial signed "A PARIS" inscribed in a case surmounted by a figure of Ceres holding an ear of wheat and a cornucopia, supported by children riding spaniels, resting on a white marble base adorned in the center with a bas-relief illustrating a procession of musical putti, the feet spinning top.
