Pair of stoneware vases, with polychrome decoration imitating cloisonné, featuring lotus flowers, pomegranates, butterflies and flowers in poly-lobed reserves on a blue background decorated with butterflies and stylized motifs. The foot and neck are encircled with bronze, the interior lined with a gilded copper vessel.
