REGAIN HOUSE. Elm sideboard opening to four doors resting on four straight legs. Circa 1980. Iron mark "Fabrication Sénac" on reverse (Dim.: 96.5 x 275 x 55 cm). This piece of furniture, with its minimalist curves, lack of ornamentation and carved handles, is part of the Brutalist movement that marked post-war architecture and design. It can be compared with Charlotte Perriand's emblematic designs for the Les Arcs resort, and those of Pierre Chapo, who collaborated with Maison Regain.
