18K yellow gold 750 ‰ pendant brooch holding a shell cameo featuring the goddess Selene on her chariot, drawn by two horses leaping on clouds (she is also the goddess of night) and surmounted by a putto. The curved mounting, enhanced with blue and white interlaced enamel, follows the contours of the cameo (small misses). Safety clasp. Probably First Empire. Dimensions: 5.5 x 4.5 cm.
