Horizontal embroidered silk panel with two sections, the upper in yellow silk embroidered with the central shou character flanked on either side by two phoenixes facing each other, the lower panel on an ochre-orange background in silk embroidered with colored threads and gold with two four-clawed dragons, facing each other on either side of the sacred pearl among clouds, the whole embellished with small mirrors in reserve. (tears, accidents and missing parts).

The superimposition of the phoenix and dragon forms the ultimate pairing of the conjugal symbol, yin and yang, often used for weddings, embellished with the character of double Happiness. It is also the symbol of the Empress and Emperor.
