Manuscript in Arabic on paper, 71 leaves, calligraphed in naskh script in black ink on an average of 11 lines per page, sura titles in white on a cartouche with a background of of. The manuscript opens with a double-page spread of two polychrome illuminated sarlowhs with sura al-Fatiha and the beginning of sura al-Baqara, followed by a selection of suras, then depictions of the sacred sites of Mecca and Medina, and hilyes.
