Siliceous ceramic, with polychrome floral decoration on an eggshell ground. The blue border and outer rim are decorated with tchi clouds alternating with floral medallions.
Condition: cracked, Au Bon Marché label on back.
Size: 28.5 cm
The Kütahya workshops follow on from the Iznik productions. The floral vocabulary of peony, jacynth or tulip bouquets was often borrowed from them.
