Persia, 19th century Rectangular in shape, surmounted by a poly-lobed pediment, with a wood frame covered with embossed and chased silver plates featuring a tapered floral design. The back features a large panel of floral scrolls accompanied by two Shir-o-Khorshid (lion and sun), emblem of the Persian kingdom. Condition: minor scattered damage.
