Portière composed of four cotton strips embroidered with polychrome silk thread borders. The decoration on three sides is composed of a floral and vegetal ribbon.
Good condition, holes. 260 x 200 cm
The floral register of this suzani abounds: saffron flowers "safargul", cloves "chinnigul" and "doira gullar nusxasi".

Former collection of British costume designer Anthony Powell (1935-2021).
