The Marathon des Leveurs de Coude, organized by Jean Cormier, was created to coincide with the first Rugby World Cup in 1987. Disguised participants toured 42 bars in the Saint-Germain-des-Près district.
Pick-up of prizes is by appointment only, on July 4 in Paris XVe (metro Sèvres-Lecourbe or Pasteur).
