Manufacture KELLER et GUERIN - LUNEVILLE Set comprising a ball vase and a pair of baluster vases in enameled earthenware with polychrome decoration enhanced with gold of storks in flight in a lakeside landscape, gilded metal mounts, the base decorated with birds with outstretched wings, the handles decorated with griffins (ball vase) and chimeras holding draped pendants (baluster vases). Handwritten mark "K.G. Luneville" under the base, recessed mark "Lunéville", numbered 569 for the baluster vases and 28 for the ball vase. Late 19th century Dimensions ball vase: 33 cm x 26 cm Height of baluster vases: 38.5 cm (two vases need to be refastened, ball vase base missing) The decoration of storks in flight in a lakeside landscape, punctuated by tree trunks, recalls Japanese iconography and its taste for animal figurations.
