Two volumes in one vol. in-8 (22 x 14), full red chagrin, 4-nerved spine, ornate compartments, Belgian coat of arms "l'union fait la force" hot-stamped on 1st plate, gilt edges. Spine detached. Includes VÉTAULT (Alphonse). "Charlemagne" (Tours, Alfred Mame et fils, 1888). In-4 (28.5 x 20.5), red half-chagrin with corners, 5-rib spine, gilt headband, boards closed with double fillet. Covers preserved. Binding slightly faded, otherwise fresh inside.
