On reverse, study of man with sword in hand and study of moving figure in profile
Pen and brown ink. Glued to sheet (small stains).

On the reverse of the framing board, an old tapestry label "School of GHIRLANDAJO (Domenico Currado Bigordi). Born in Florence in 1449, died in the same city in 1498".
Attractive wood veneer frame with large foliage scrolls (minor accidents and missing parts).
Presumed provenance: Paris, Galerie Leo Schidlof (according to a card glued to the inside of the backing board).
