Touching correspondence in French from a mother worried about her son Paolo Paoli, mobilized in Germany: "she doesn't know where she is; in her regiment, discipline is rigid and there's no fooling around! - She complains about the bombings, which frighten her: "You never know what these air assassins will do tomorrow! Here we are threatened and often visited because of troop movements, occupying authorities, etc.". 4 pages of beautiful writing.
