Original engravings in the center of Montgolfier cream vellum, numbered and signed in pencil by the artist (32.5 x 25 cm). These engravings show "old turret rue du Dr Gendron, Ruins of the room where Joan of Arc came to recognize King Charles VII, Ecole St Maurice, Passage rue Beaurepaire, Rue du Grand Carroi, Old houses rue Voltaire, Porche de l' Eglise St Etienne, La Vienne à Chinon, Vue d' ensemble du Château sur le coteau (en son état 1935)". ATTACHED is an eleventh engraving showing, in addition to the "justification of the print", the shadow, in profile, of the statue of RABELAIS observing the Vienne.
