Our model comes with instructions for use on the Gabialex letterhead, maker of the first torch, and a dismantling key.
All the torches, made especially for the 1992 Abertville games, were manufactured in stainless steel at the Uginox plant in Savoie. They symbolize the horns of Tarentaise cows.
A special series is available from the small production run. There are thirty of them, numbered in Roman numerals. Ours is number XVI.
The model is listed in the inventory of the Centre national d'art et de culture Georges-Pompidou under inventory number AM 1994-1-432.
