Black morocco, boards covered with an abstract composition of black, blue, pale green and beige boxing and cold scrolls, smooth spine, gilt fillet framing inside, gray silk lining and endpapers, edges of endpapers gilt, untrimmed, cover and spine preserved, slipcase (Semet et Plumelle).
First edition of this work forming the first volume of the "Miroir du poète" collection. It is illustrated with an original color etching by Georges BRAQUE (1882-1963), placed in the frontispiece.
Edition of 120 copies on old japon, signed by the artist at the justification, this one being one of 20 numbered in roman numerals.
A fine copy bound by Semet et Plumelle.
