Attributed to Charles Henri Michel (1817-1905). Portrait of Nicolas Félix Harlé, aged 22 in 1810. Charcoal. Handwritten annotation on reverse: "copie faite par son gendre Mr Michel en 1899". Drawing and chalk highlights, oval view. Dimensions: 26.5x22 cm. The original of this painting, by the painter Michel, is kept at the Alfred Danicourt Museum in Péronne. Nicolas-Félix Harlé (1788-1859), deputy for the Somme from 1831 to 1836, sitting in the majority supporting the July Monarchy. Félicité Rosalie Masson (1760-1838), wife of Nicolas Harlé, and mother of Nicolas-Félix Harlé. Charles Henri Michel (1817-1905), painter from Péronne, pupil of Auguste Dehaussy. In 1854, he married Célanie Harlé, daughter of Nicolas-Félix Harlé.
