Castelli, 17th century.
Coffee pot on a foot ring. Gadrooned in the lower third. The handle is formed from two opposing C-sweeps. The long, arrow-shaped spout is highlighted in color and decorated with a scale pattern. The Istoriato painting shows pairs of figures on both sides - on the right, a man is handing a colorful cloak to a bearded man. It is probably Jacob, to whom the blood-stained coat of his favorite son Joseph is brought, whereupon he mistakenly believes that Joseph is dead. On the left, a woman is trying to prevent a young man from leaving by holding him by the skirt. This could be Joseph, who is rejecting Potiphar's wife. Painted in red, yellow, green, blue, brown and black. (1241721) (10)
