Probably found in Shansi-Honan.
Green-beige age patina. Small bronze chalice, with flared round foot and strongly flaring lip. Three decorative small openings at the foot, above a wide band with early Chinese script in relief. The Shang dynasty (Pinyin Shángcháo) is considered the second period of Chinese rule, between the 18th and 11th centuries BC.
