LARGE STILL LIFE WITH FRUITS, FLOWERS, FEATHERED ANIMALS AND A GUINEA PIG Oil on canvas. 106 x 188 cm. In a decorative frame. In a mountainous landscape under a blue sky, in front of a rocky plateau a small white blanket with a lace lying on a stone, with partly opened figs on top. Above it, on another higher part of the rock, a flat woven basket, containing numerous colorful flowers, some hanging over the edge. Striking in the center, however, is a standing colourful rooster, behind it a white hen pecking at a fig. To the right of the cockerel, next to flowers, an open large pumpkin and behind it an oversized depiction of a guinea pig peeking out from under the white blanket. Further pumpkins can be seen on the left edge, while a shiny bowl can be seen on the right edge of the picture, with a field bindweed entwined around it and a red macaw pecking at the upper edge. High-quality painting, in which the colorful flowers, fruits and animals in particular are highlighted against the darker background.
