In a wide frame decorated in relief.
One depiction of a battle scene in front of a raised hill with a round fortress, the other a calm depiction with a central white horse after the end of the battle, thus depicting successive scenes in chronological order. The battle situation finds its counterpart in a compositionally very similar work also attributed to Masturzio, which is listed in the Fondazione Zeri under no. 87504. (1400211) (4) (13)
