Full-length depiction of a young man standing in contrapposto on a path with trees depicted in central perspective, in his hand a walking stick only slightly breaking the alignment of the path, next to him a sitting greyhound. Since Bondy was able to acquire two works by Van Gogh in France, he adopted basic features of his style, which is well expressed in this magnificent painting.
