Against a dark background, the three-quarter portrait of a dignitary in black clothing with a flat white collar. He has placed his right hand on his chest, his left forearm resting on a red cloth-covered tabletop next to him, on which stands a thick open book, probably with a reference to him, on which can be read "ORDONNANTIE VAn don HOVE van UTRECHT...".
