BOATS AND SHIPS ON A ROUGH SEA Oil on wood. Parquetry. 52 x 84 cm. In decorative frame. In the center of the painting, in stormy weather on a rough sea, a brown boat with billowing sails and a set Dutch flag, in which the crew is fighting against the high waves. On the left is another fishing boat and in the background a large frigate. On the upper left and right the sky clears with light blue and yellowish light and indicates the departure of the storm.
