PORTRAIT OF A YOUNG BEAUTY Oil on cardboard. 41 x 29 cm. Monogrammed "J L A" lower left. In a gilded magnificent frame. A seated young woman leaning on a chaise longue in an interior with a reddish curtain gathered to the left. She is wearing a long, white, elegant, off-the-shoulder dress and is probably holding a black headdress with bows and pink flowers in her lap. She also has shoulder-length black hair, a fine incarnation, slightly reddened cheeks and her dark eyes gaze thoughtfully out of the picture. Some occasional retouching. (1400021) (18)
