Bronze triptych of the Deisis and selected saints. Russia, 18th century.
Based on a 16th-century model. The central panel has two registers: on the upper part, the Deisis with the Savior seated on a throne and surrounded by the Mother of God and Saint John the Forerunner. On the lower part, the saints: Zosime and Sabbas of Solovetski, Nicholas the Thaumaturgist and Leonce of Rostov. On each flap, three pairs of busts of saints facing Christ: on the left, the Archangel Michael and the Apostle Peter, Basil the Great and the Megalomartyr George, John Chrysostom and Peter, Metropolitan of Moscow; on the right, the Archangel Gabriel and the Apostle Paul, Gregory the Theologian and the Megalomartyr Demetrios of Thessalonica, Athanasius and the Hieromartyr Blaise.
