Bronze with rich brown patina shaded with black and green, signed on the terrace "BARYE 1837". BARYE" stamp on the front.
Early edition cast iron, stamped in gold "FB" on the front, F. Barbedienne Fondeur, engraved on the plinth on the back, numbers in ink below.
