A half Frisian tail clock in oak madder height case, Friesland ca. 1840. The curved hood is crowned by two gilded wooden trumpet-blowing angels and a ditto Atlas. Ebonised pilasters with brass Corinthian capital and base as styles. Polychrome painted dial with a fantasy village scene in the arch, dial ring with bridal wreath, Roman/Arabic numerals indicate the hours, minutes and the alarm clock position, l 125 cm.
