Khatamkari box with mirror inside
Qajar Iran, late 19th-early 20th century
Rectangular box entirely inlaid with khatamkari and featuring a poly-lobed mandorla motif on the lid. The interior, in green cardboard painted with small floral motifs, contains an antique mirror. Several chips, one foot missing.
