Slight wetness but good overall condition
René-Ferdinand (de) Chaubry, Ponts-et-Chaussée engineer, sub-engineer at Le Mans, then at Honfleur, Le Havre and Dieppe in 1785 with the rank of inspector. He went on to become Chief Engineer of the Sarthe department, then President of its General Council. In particular, he was responsible for the first major urban transformations of the city of Le Mans.
