213 x 120 cm for the frame
On the back of this probably original oak frame, partially gilded and decorated with a damaged laurel frieze (various elements missing), are several labels: "Miroiterie, Dorure, Ed. Himbert"; "43ème Exposition Versaillaise, 1896" titling our pastel; a label "534" in the upper right of the original glass probably refers to the number of this Versailles exhibition.
