Set of 22 door hinges from the Van Beuningen apartment 1930-1933 In gilded bronze Provenance: > Decor for the apartment of Daniel van Beuningen (1877-1955) on the 5th floor of 93 Quai d'Orsay in Paris, the last interior decoration project orchestrated by Jacques-Emile Ruhlmann and completed in 1933. > Mr. A. Located on the Quai d'Orsay, near the Seine, in an elegant building designed in 1930 by the architect Léon Azéma, winner of the Grand Prix de Rome, this vast apartment is entirely furnished by Ruhlmann. In addition to the usual rooms, it features an immense rotunda room, enlarged by a mirrored wall incorporating half-columns. Arranged in the non-conformist style of the 1929 Studio, the space is both a study and a reception room" (in.
