Russian Soviet equestrian figural cast iron sculpture. The figure depicts a Cossack seated on a horse lifting his lover from the ground and embracing her. The sculpture stands on a base depicting the ground.
Marked on the bottom with the 1959 date mark and the foundry mark in Cyrillic for Kasli.
Kasli is a town in Southern Ural known for its cast iron sculpture. Many renowned artistic sculptures in Moscow and St. Petersburg as well as the iron furniture at the Winter Palace were produced by the Kasli factory.

Very good with expected signs of wear. Nice bronze patina throughout.
