Zorikto Dorzhiev (b. 1976), an oil on canvas painting depicting a woman in traditional Buryat attire. Signed "Zorikto" lower right. Titled "Tuesday" (from a series of works "Khan's Concubines"). Housed in a wooden frame. Ca. 2007 Zorikto Dorzhiev is a Russian Buryat artist. He had solo exhibitions in The Russian Museum, St. Petersburg, Museum of Oriental Art, Moscow, Victoria & Albert Museum, London, and Tretyakov State National Gallery, Moscow. In 2019, he had personal exhibition “The New Steppe” as a part of parallel program of 58th Venice biennale. Dimensions: 31 1/4 X 21 3/8 in., ( 79.5 x 54.3 cm.) Perfect.
