COVERED SILVER LÉGUMIER (950), LAPAR ORFÈVRE, PARIS, LATE 19th TO EARLY 20th CENTURY
of circular form with contours and pinched ribs, standing on a pedestal, the double handles with scrolls and shells, the lid surmounted by a ring-shaped grip with foliate scrolls on a rocaille terrace, engraved with a monogram.
The lid apparently has no goldsmith's hallmark; for the lid grip, goldsmith Henri Gauthier (1902-1920), Paris.
