The boxes are rectangular with sides; the frame chased with a fine garland of stylized palmettes; the sliding lid engraved with a shield; in its wooden case with two compartments, set on the upper edge with a brass lock plate, engraved "Biennais orfèvre du Premier Consul r, s Honoré n° 119".
