TWO-HEADED CABINET, PARTLY XVIth CENTURY
in walnut, oak, intarsia, alabaster and marble plates. It opens to two doors in the front with bas-relief decoration of biblical scenes framed by uprights with bas-relief medallions featuring antique divinities at the top and later-period winged putti at the bottom, shouldered by a frieze of interlocking leaves. It stands on crushed ball feet.
(Piece of furniture reassembled in the 19th century incorporating elements from this period, with a few accidents and missing pieces).
