CABINET, ITALY, 17th CENTURY STYLE, 19th CENTURY Rectangular, in blackened wood and red tortoiseshell, opening to eight drawers decorated with marquetry of hard stones, marble and fossils, on either side of a central leaf surrounded by detached columns. It stands on a twisted base joined by a belt brace. (Restorations, a few accidents, notably to a front column, and the feet of the pedestal are missing).
