TABLE CHIFFONNIÈRE, LOUIS XV AND LOUIS XVI TRANSITION STYLE, LATE 19th TO EARLY 20th CENTURY
oval-shaped; veneered with amaranth, satinwood, sycamore and gilt bronze. It is adorned at the waist with friezes of rosaceous and floral interlacing in reserves, and opens with a central drawer. Flat mounts with simulated fluting and leafy ribbon falls. They are joined by a spacer shelf with a gallery of openwork hearts. Cambered legs with flowery foliage, ending in a leafy scroll. The top, also encircled by an open gallery of the same type, is adorned in its center with an allegory of geography in a reserve with framing and darkened fillets of interlacing flowers and foliage.
