APPLIQUE CONSOLE, ITALY, LATE 18th CENTURY Rectangular, in gilded and grey lacquered wood, molded and carved with an acanthus leaf frieze on the belt. It stands on scrolled console jambs adorned with flowers and a large acanthus leaf, joined by a laurel brace centered on an allegory of love with embracing doves, a quiver and a torch. Claw feet, marble top in matching sarrancolin veneer.
