in molded and carved walnut and mahogany, the cabriolet backrest topped by a leafy scroll ear molding; the adjustable armrests feature two press buttons for tilting the backrest and a mounting point for the arm supporting the adjustable rack-operated reading stand and two candlesticks; The front belt pulls out to reveal a footrest, also adjustable by means of a toothed rack. The base is a roulette top, gadrooned at the front and arched at the back with simulated scrolls adorned with a large palm leaf.
